Description
An intricate stone bridge connects two historical buildings, adorned with detailed carvings and Gothic arches. The elaborate design showcases ornate patterns and sculptures, creating a sense of elegance and grandeur.
The marble Pont del Bisbe (Bishop’s Bridge), though it seems old, was built for the Barcelona International Exposition in 1929.
You'll notice some parallels because it was truly influenced by Venice's Bridge of Sighs.
Joan Rubió I. Bellver, an architect and ardent follower of Antoni Gaudi who contributed to Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, and other projects, was the creator of the neo-Gothic design.
