All of the sculptural groups of the Moro fountain were removed, transported, and replaced by reproductions by Luigi Amici in 1874, at the same time as the official completion of the northern fountain in Piazza Navona. They were just recently rebuilt, although the originals have been repurposed in other fountains; the tritons, in example, may be seen at the Villa Borghese lake fountain.
