Cefalù's Castle, locally known as Castello di Cefalù or Castello della Rocca, lies on the mountain above the town of the same name, in the Palermo province on the island of Sicily in Italy. The top of Cefalù Rock was already inhabited in ancient times as the remains of a temple with megalithic stonework attests.
