Description
The Nasoni are the iconic, free drinking fountains of Rome, also known as "big nose" fountains due to the curved metal spout that resembles a nose. These cylindrical, cast iron structures stand around 1.2 meters tall. They are readily available throughout the city, providing a reliable source of safe, potable water.
The fountain drips water in front of ornate, towering brick buildings under a bright sky. Architectural details on the structures create a sense of depth and history in the monochrome setting.
